The 2023 Oakland County FC Season: In Review

Oakland County FC’s 2023 calendar officially concludes on Saturday, August 26 when OCFC supporters take on the club’s staff in the 4th annual Tim Pontzer Memorial Cup. The winner of the game will once again hoist the Chef Toby Trophy. The exhibition match celebrates the memory of County’s late superfan and creates opportunities to make new memories for those in the club by playing the game we love together. The match will be played at 5 Star Training, located at 312 Park street in Troy, at 5:00 PM. The event will be followed by celebrations and libations at Zeolis Modern Italian in downtown Clawson.

Before Oakland County Football Club’s season fades into the rearview mirror, let’s take another look to review OCFC’s 2023 USL2 season:
Oakland County FC’s year over year progress continued in 2023, as the Purple Gang recorded their best league finish to date. The team fought back from a slow start and earned the club its first winning season. County forced its way into playoff contention and produced the most exciting final week of a season that County fans have experienced yet.
