Oakland County FC returns to newly renovated Royal Oak High School Stadium for 2022 season
After three brilliant seasons of competition at Clawson Stadium, Oakland County FC will be moving a mere 5,000 feet south back to where the 2017 season took place, Royal Oak High School.
At the conclusion of 2017, ROHS was approved for a bond that would require construction on the stadium and surrounding area that shut down field use for the following two seasons. Thanks to Clawson, the club was able to find a new home ever so close to our last.
Clawson Stadium was a great location to continue the club’s progression. Fans enjoyed the feel of the home pitch and it really gave that grassroots feel to our organization. Those memories will live on with the club forever. The community has welcomed us with open arms and we know they will continue to do so with what we have in store for them this season. – Theo Foutris, Co-Owner
With the $5.5 million bond, facilities underwent major renovation including a grand entrance, installation of new field turf, new team rooms, a large paved pavilion concession area, new ticket booths and more — all part of the new athletic plaza.
Everything about our match day operation will be enhanced due to the new amenities at Royal Oak, both for players, and most importantly, our supporters. We look forward to elevating the overall stadium-type experience for fans that they’ve come to expect as an OCFC fan. – Nick Morana, Co-Owner
The new athletic plaza will provide fans a unique match vibe that elevates the experience when witnessing a match in 2022.
The field and the facility will be a great upgrade for the club. Looking forward to our continued partnership with OCFC and all that’s to come this season! – Scott Brown, Owner of Zeoli’s Modern Italian
